TUMBLR 5
Eduardo Paolozzi did this. I love pop art. The colors are amazing. Its so simple. Bright and cheerful. This was done in a subway. If I saw this I would be amazed. You wouldnt think something like this would be in a subway.<3
TUMBLR WEEK 7
This is an interesting piece. It reminds me of something that would go in a Cafe. I actually find it rather boring. I know all art isnt supposed to be crazy detailed, but it need something else. The orange makes it pop out at least.
TUMBLR WEEK 8
Impression Sunrise by Claude Monet
I picked this picture, because its got so many colors that make it look real. It must have taken forever to get everything correct. This painting named the Impressionism movement. This movement was about paintings that use brush strokes to make something look as close to the real thing as possible.
TUMBLR #6
Looking Along Broadway Towards Grace Church by Red grooms
I pick this picture because I like how its 2D and 3D. It almost looks real. It also looks as if your looking off into the streets. <3 I wish I could find a side view of it.
The pop art movement was a basically when people would add comics, advertising, and cultural items into your art work.
TUMBLR #4
This sculpture reminds me of somebody planking that is why I picked it. I find it very interest and kind of funny. It looks like the “person” has been absorbed into the floor. I noticed that most of Antony Gormley sculptures all deal with humans in awkward positions. Very interesting work.
TUMBLR #3
The Merzbau by Kurt Schwitters.
This picture is crazy. It caught my eye because of that very thing. It looks like a room was cut into pieces and then randomly stuck back together. The focus point of this picture seems to be the little half circle. I have no negative comments about this. It makes me kind of happy. Why? i’m not exactly sure but It puts a smile on my face :D
… The Dada Art Movement was basically a movement to ridicule what people thought was pointless to the world.
TUMBLR #1
This painting is amazing. Its 3D. I love how the background is a sunset. I think the little girl sitting on the fence ties the piece together. If it didnt have her there it would be plain and uninteresting. It makes me feel kind of relaxed if I stare at it.

This photograph caught my eye because it looks fake. I think the way it is angled and that its in black&white cause it to look fake. I cant imagine any building in New York looking like that. Even though it looks fake it interests me. Why would the artist take a picture of this building?
